What customers say?

“ French / Japanese fusion. Very nice dining experience. ”

“ This restaurant is recommended for meals with loved ones or important business meetings. Chef Nakayama's fusion of Japanese and French cuisine, made with seasonal ingredients, can be enjoyed from the counter seats. In addition to counter seating, table seating and private rooms are also available. I had heard that their rice dishes are delicious, so I ordered additional rice in addition to the "menu A" course. I asked for my drink preferences and we paired it with wine. The food here incorporates Japanese elements, so it was gentle on the stomach. We had a luxurious and wonderful time. ”

“ Great location, supportive and helpful service team and on top of that brilliant menu. Special thanks to the people working there for creating this experience. Even the wine choice per course is above normal. ”

“ I visited for a collaborative dinner with Onogawa. It was my first time, and it was even more delicious than I imagined or expected! The food was so wonderful that I was in awe every time it was brought to me. The French cuisine and sake went so well together, and the Onogawa sake was also excellent. They had a live kitchen, so you could watch the serving process. From the wild oysters I'd never seen before to the coconut espuma and bitter melon jelly for dessert, I was amazed not only by the deliciousness of the ingredients, but also by the unexpected combinations. The food was truly amazing. I'd definitely like to return to this restaurant! ”

“ This was my first visit to Restaurant TOYO Tokyo, located on the third floor of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, where you can relax while taking in the night view. This restaurant has a particularly quiet and calming atmosphere within the building, with spacious seating, making it the perfect space for dates, anniversaries, and business meetings. Available at the counter, tables, and private rooms, the pleasant atmosphere is impressive from every seat. This time, I ordered the Dinner B Course (14,520 yen). Each dish seamlessly blends Japanese and French cuisine, demonstrating the chef's masterful skills. The specialty, "Fugu and Scallop Pie," left a particularly strong impression. The pie was neither too thick nor too thin, remaining light and crispy. The balance of the filling and the flavor was excellent, and the lingering aroma was a delight. The roasted Hokkaido venison was perfectly cooked, surprisingly moist and smooth. It was light and delicious, even paired with red wine. The Japanese chestnut soufflé was also exquisite, fluffy and light yet with a strong chestnut aroma and presence. The meal was carefully prepared from start to finish. Not only was the food of a high standard, but the service was also attentive and relaxed, making for a very comfortable atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant for a relaxing meal in the Hibiya/Ginza area, for meals before or after a play, or for a special occasion dinner. It was a restaurant I would like to return to on another special occasion. ”

“ Restaurant Toyo Tokyo A renowned modern French restaurant located on the third floor of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. A sophisticated atmosphere emanates from the entrance, and the subdued lighting and stylish design create a sophisticated evening. The elegant atmosphere is perfect for dates, anniversaries, and special occasions. The cuisine focuses on modern French courses that maximize the flavor of the ingredients, and from appetizers to desserts, you can feel the meticulous craftsmanship throughout. Seasonal ingredients, sourced that day, are beautifully prepared, and each dish is exquisitely crafted, from the balance of flavors and temperature to the presentation. The main meat and fish dishes in particular were delicate yet left a deep aftertaste, bringing a smile to my face with every bite. The wine selection is extensive, and the suggestions for pairings with the dishes are spot on. The service is smart yet warm, and the comfort of respecting the guest's pace is impressive. A recommended spot for a quiet evening of high-quality French cuisine in Hibiya. This restaurant offers a special experience with its modern and sophisticated space and cuisine. ”

“ Tokyo Hibiya French, a Paris-based restaurant that has created a new style of French cuisine! My first visit to TOYO was about five years ago. I later learned that it was around the time that Chef Maruyama, the current head chef, began working alone as head chef. The restaurant's greatest feature is that it offers not just a chance to savor the finished dish, but the opportunity to enjoy the entire process as a beautiful performance unfolding before your eyes. For example, the process of the chef preparing the food at the counter opposite the counter, the process of artistically arranging the finished dish on beautiful Arita ware tableware carefully selected by the chef himself, and the process of the chef and sommelier working in perfect harmony to present the fully arranged dishes with beautiful gestures - all of these processes flow together like a seamless story, and in the context of a full-course meal, the toast serves as a wonderful amuse-bouche or a thoughtful appetizer. As for the food, the first thing that catches your eye is the visual beauty, but the cuisine also feels like it's all about using seasonal ingredients, cherishing their texture and flavor, and savoring every last bit. At the same time, the combination of ingredients is innovative, creative, and edgy, resulting in the ultimate in overall deliciousness. Chef Maruyama is still young enough to be called a master, but his culinary sense is outstanding, and I believe he will undoubtedly become a representative figure of the new generation of French cuisine. What's more, at last night's birthday dinner for a special someone, the innovative and edgy dishes were accompanied by a gentle, enveloping warmth, and I felt that Chef Maruyama, who I always rely on, has evolved even further and achieved new levels of deliciousness. This restaurant is highly recommended! ”
